Our Story
The Stray Tones are an acoustic duo built on more than 40 years of friendship.
About 25 years ago, before Deno moved to Boston to study at Berklee College of Music, he gave Sherry a guitar. Years later, the two began playing together regularly — sometimes for hours at a time — and that friendship eventually became The Stray Tones.
Today, they split their time between Long Island, New York and Delray Beach, Florida, playing together several days a week and continuing to build a sound that feels completely their own.

Lead Guitar & Vocals
Deno brings decades of musical experience and deep blues roots to The Stray Tones.
A lifelong musician and Berklee College of Music graduate, Deno has spent years performing in Long Island, Boston and Manhattan. His love of Delta blues and roots music gives the duo much of its musical foundation.
SHERRY
Lead Vocals • Rhythm Guitar • Ukulele
Sherry brings the modern edge to The Stray Tones.
After years of studying guitar and developing as a musician, she became the driving rhythm and lead vocal presence of the duo. Her wide-ranging musical taste helps shape the band’s mix of classic and contemporary influences.
